AAIM is future of healthcare service – Perlis Raja Muda

ARAU,. The Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, said the Advanced Acute Internal Medicine (AAIM) has been identified as the future of healthcare service.

“AAIM is seen as very suitable for hospitals in this country. Malaysian healthcare is unique where our main focus is to provide the best care despite the manpower and resource constraints,” he said in a statement last night.

Earlier, His Royal Highness launched the First National Ultrasound and Echocardiography Course in the Era of COVID-19 2020 digitally.

The one-day webinar, participated by 100 people, was organised by the Malaysian Advanced Acute Internal Medicine and Ultrasound Society (MAAIMUSS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and College of Physicians.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra, who is also the Royal Patron of MAAIMUSS said this new field is able to reduce uncertainty and increase the probability of getting a more accurate diagnosis.

AAIM covers a broad spectrum of clinical work in a range of expertise including immediate management of life-threatening emergencies, early treatment involving general medical ailment and ambulatory care provision.
