
Atomy Malaysia donates gift packs to local media
KUALA LUMPUR,. Health, beauty and personal care company Atomy Malaysia today handed over 1,000 sets of donation packs worth RM213,000 to 10 local media organisations – broadcast and print – as a token of appreciation for their media coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Its general manager Sewon Kim said that, through their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the company presented 1,000 personal care sets including hand sanitisers, sunscreen (sun sticks) and food items.
Ten selected media organisations are the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama); Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM); TV3; TV Al Hijrah; Berita Harian; Sinar Harian; New Straits Times; The Star; Oriental Daily and Sin Chew Daily.
“In curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, various organisations have worked hard, toiled and put their lives on the line.
“The local mainstream media are among the frontliners who play a crucial role in helping the government curb the pandemic,” she said in a statement today.
Meanwhile, at Wisma Bernama, 100 sets were presented by Atomy Malaysia public relations manager, Mohamad Haizam Yahya to Bernama deputy editor-in-chief (Economic News Service) Khairdzir Md Yunus today.
